Today was the day we were taking Madison and Gracie to the Joburg airport for their flight back home. However, about 45 minutes into our trip, our 17 year-old Honda, which has long standing dependability issues, and has been in more comas than this status has commas, decided to bust a hose and render us immobile along the road. Our friendly mechanic friend came to the rescue and replaced the hose (on a Sunday!) I was already feeling uneasy about trying to make it to Joburg and back in our very loose and jiggly buggy. So, we really feel the Lord allowed this minor incident to happen to protect us from something much worse. Inge and the girls were able to get on a shuttle to the airport and I returned home.
