Today was the first day of my Performing Arts Assignment and Im hyped. Today we were at Francisville Playground. My team mate, actress, choreographer, singer and total Renaissance woman, Miranda Thompson and I were Blessed to have 100% participation today as we introduced our program to the children to develop them to performance.... ....the real blessing was a little boy labeled Autistic, who at first distanced himself, ( i asked him what he liked to do...his response was, ...curse and fight.... ... but with a little love, compassion, patience and encouragement he became my anchor for the rhythm section. He learned 3-2 clave and kept it consistent for the dancers (Praise GOD for my little time at Easter Seals Autism/Early Intervention Center - It prepared me. Only GOD!) I think Im just as excited about returning as they are. ...were going to have a Blast creating our performance Miranda might have me dancing before this is over!
