Today was the first morning since Jed came home that I woke before - TopicsExpress

Today was the first morning since Jed came home that I woke before he did. However, it wasnt long before I found a cold, wet nose in my face, and a wagging tail at the other end. It appears, from my uneducated perspective, that Jed is making progress. Our short walks outside are now more than just trips of necessity. Jeds nose is busy sniffing the air, and he clearly still enjoys exploring some of the places where small critters hide. As much as Id like to let him go, I worry about tiring him. So, while our trips outside are short, theyre becoming more plentiful. Jed also is enjoying looking out the front door, watching his world go by--and waiting for the occasional Squirrel! to run across the yard, or up a nearby tree. Last, and perhaps, most importantly, hes wagging his tail, when hes given his meals, when he sees a treat coming his way, when I talk to him, and when I get down on the floor to cuddle with him.
