Today was the first race of the 2014 Lakes Region Interscholastic Mountain Bike Series! Proctor Academy put on a great race on a trail we havent seen before... a well-built technical trail that tested the ability and stamina of all the young athletes! KMS Started the season with a bang! With Noah sprinting it out for the top spot on the Mens A podium, and Turner taking the top spot on the Womens B podium. The KMS Cyclists had a great time catching up with friends they have made over years of racing (anyone recognize the traitor in the Gould kit?), but when the starters whistle blew, it was game on, and old rivalries renewed! A beautiful fall day, and a great start to the mountain bike season. Thanks to Proctor for a really well-run race, and great job by all!
