Today was the kind of day where I went to the DMV to buy a new ID (which I think should be free when stolen, but thats neither here nor there) and they sent me to the courthouse to get what I needed to get the ID. (And if youre picturing those two places being in the same building, theyre not. Theyre an unload/re-load June in the cold away from each other.) (And if youre wondering why I didnt call to confirm what I needed before going to the DMV- I DID. Several times and no one would answer or return my calls.) I get to the courthouse to find out they only accept cash. Which I dont have enough of. But alas! I have an emergency $10 in my glove compartment. So I take June back outside to realize my emergency fund (thankfully small in value lol) was stolen, too. So then I get to go to the bank. And youre of course going to just assume correctly that the bank says they cant give me cash without my ID. Which is what I dont have and tried to get at the DMV that sent me to the courthouse that sent me to the bank. I love when people steal my stuff and cause me to go on a government sponsored scavenger hunt where people only accept cash that I cant obtain. Three hours later, I had my ID. With no tears in the process, but I cant quite say the same for cursing. ;)
