Today was truly a huge task. 7 dories all completed the ironman row around cape island. The weather decided to challenge us this year and the finish line came to us all. I am very blessed to have a amazing brother who followed us around with excellent guidance. My son Jared who went with Johnny and supported us as well. Bethany and Edward for timing us. A huge thanks to the chase boats who were willing to take the time to chase each boat. Also, Stevie and Leona Goreham for allowing us to use their dory again this year. Now the rowers.... Congrats to Gail and Kath on the first place win you guys rocked:). Thanks to Russell and Fenton for being so supportive with Rowing and many events that are part I our community. It was great to have a team from Luneburg to come, We hope to see you next year. A returning rower came back this year and it was great to see you Natalie and your partner Bill... New rower Craig and Ernest took on this event this year and did well. Lastly there was a rower who deserves recognition because he did this Ironman by himself. Congrats Angus on a huge accomplishment. He also, helps with the club and repairs on the dories more than people know. Thanks:). Lastly, Rick we did it wooohooo:)
