Today was what I call a reset day. No running, no strength work. A good sleep in, hydration, a decent breakfast with plenty of good fats (eggs and avocado) and sauerkraut for gut health. Then I backed it up with a solid hour on the roller and spiky ball. Feeling rejuvenated and ready to go again. Make sure that you incorporate the Yin with the Yang and be kind to your body when it needs it. I am a strong believer in pushing outside your comfort zone and testing your body, but you need to establish a relationship with your body to enable it to function for the long run.
