Today wasnt great, well it started great then went downhill. Heat 1 kart 9 I had the best kart that race, I was able to pull away from Tom & Chris leaving them to their own battle. Won that heat. The 2nd heat started 5th, had a good start until someone pushed someone into the tyre wall with no where else to go leaving me hitting the guy who the went airborne onto my whole arm & hand (Hand is killing me!) The race was stopped. I was able to bring the kart back around to the pits as I had flat spotted the front right so they changed it, I got back in the kart and at this point I was considerable pain. The race restarted. Some how was able to fight my way to 2nd place Chris. God knows how I got 2nd probably because of adrenalin. The Final, started 2nd went down hill as my hand was a complete mess I couldnt grip the wheel without being in pain. Stopped the kart after 6 laps. So, this means I am now out of the title. To say I am frustrated is an understatement right now, but Leeds next where I have had great races there so fingers crossed end the year on a high. Spark
