Today, we adopted our newest big boy puppy... Schultzy:) we are so lucky to have found him... We have never purchased an animal from a breeder or a puppy mill... There are WAY too many amazingly awesome critters that need homes... The love of the critter is more important to me than the breed or how impressed my friends would be that I spent half a paycheck on a dog... Thats useless and selfish to me... A shelter animal will give you just as much love and probably even MORE than a pure bred blah blah... Again... To me, useless... Those animals from breeders are beautiful and sweet... Its the selfish situation that they come from that is useless to me... Feels like selling children... Its something you love and care for... Not something to make money on... The people that post adds online looking for a breeding partner so they can sell puppies.. It just seems strange to me to add to the population when there are so many shelter pups that need forever homes... Im not being elitist or saying that adoption is the only way... But every animal that lives with us... And theres a LOT... None of them were purchased... Minus Snowy the rat:) Im just saying that its my favorite way...
