Today we are inspired by: 20-month-old David Livingston, a happy toddler who who loves trains, busses and anything that moves. David also has a rare condition called Treacher Collins Sydrome (TCS) characterized by craniofacial abnormalities, he’s pictured here with UK TSC campaigner Jono Lancaster who is in Australia meeting TSC families and visiting schools to raise awareness for bully prevention. “I’m so lucky to have had this opportunity,” Jono said. “Being able to spend time with these families and meeting school children has been really special and unique.” “It’s been fantastic to meet Jono” David’s mum Carol said. “To see someone who has this condition and has friends, a partner, a career and a wonderful life. He will be an amazing role model for David.” “David has been at the RCH since he was three days old,” Carol added. “He’s been in and out of almost every department: maxiollfacial, respiratory, plastics, ophthalmology, ENT, speech therapy and more.
