Today we are to give thanks for a gift handmade, held and happy. I thought of many things over the years people have made for me and things I have made for others, but the gift lately that brought me comfort that I held often was a prayer lap quilt made for me by friends and sisters in Christ from home in Pa. They sent me this while I was battling breast cancer and its love shared by each hand that had a part in it was held in my weakest moment and its love brought me happiness. Thank you to those who sewed each stitch with love and put it together with prayers.
