Today we conclude the October 2014 ASOM. This platform has forever changed our destiny from its inception some 12 years ago, more especially this finally week which commenced with the announcement that this will be the final school convened in Pietermaritzburg. Whilst emotions ran high in the face of this stark and inevitable reality; we can choose to remain dazed, disillusioned & fixated on the Cloud as the disciples had done in Acts 1:11, or simply embrace this exciting journey for our global family. Messengers ascending and descending in a School which can only be described as one without restraint repeatedly turned our gaze to our journey into God as FATHER, as we remain willing to lay the knife to sentiment, familiarity and our own idols and comforts. A new and reset mind must fuel a prevailing mentality for our City and region to see transformation. There is a re-commissioned urgency and double portion acceleration as this mantle is caught flowing from the patriarchal grace of this privileged family, Thamo and Mirolyn Naidoo who have given themselves wholly to the will of the Father. Our only security remains in the ability to stay connected to the shadow. Our beloved River of Life family; be assured that your labour of Love and lament for the Body of Christ from your days of humble beginnings through countless hours of selflessness and tireless giving will surely produce innumerable dividends in the Spirit as we enter into the dawn of a new day. Your River has not only washed many feet but hands and heads too!!
