Today we enjoyed a walk to the park. We witnessed signs of autumn and collected lots of different coloured, shapes and sized leaves. The children had great fun exploring. We then made an ingredients list for our lunch time baking and headed off to the shop to buy them. One child used the self scan checkout and after finding the barcodes on every item scanned them, listened for the beep and packed. We made cheese scones to eat with our pasta lunch. We made three pieces of dough into plaits but they lost their shape when they rose in the oven! We also used some of the leaves we collected to do leaf printing in autumn colours. The children had great fun making lots of prints on paper :)
