Today we had a few interesting rounds going on the motion THW hold mothers liable for harm to their fetus in utero. Some really interesting ideas about the nature of punishment and laws, their intent, and the stigma vs. cultural change theyd cause were thrown around, along with a lot of other big ideas. Id recommend googling this topic because theres a lot of good info on it online. Also, linked is a great debate on the motion. The style is 3v3, Australs, not one that we do, so focus more on the arguments. Debate starts around 13:00.
