Today, we had a school group trip out to Morris Island, and when we got there, the beach was CRAWLING with Horseshoe crabs! Now, I dont know if you know anything about these amazing creatures, but theyre pretty neat. They come up on land to mate and lay eggs, but sometimes they get caught in the waves, get turned over, and will bake in the sun if they cant flip back over. So, today we practiced Horseshoe crab rescue 101! Great job kids!
