Today we had the honor of riding on special bus to DC that included 2 of ERIC GARNER s children, ERIC JR and EMERALD. Emerald is not just awaiting justice , she has already started a YOUTH HUDDLE program which has as one of its many objectives to drastically improve neighborhood relations between police officers and youth. She did not ask anyones permission to do this , she went directly to a precinct to get their involvement and they are. She has teamed with the NAW ( National Action Network) to help this grow. Well the special bus (Youth Huddle Bus) she organized consisted of mainly other close family members,supporters and over 30 youth (under 20) in the program. I was easily the oldest person on the bus. Listening to the focused conversations both going down and coming back reminded me that the millennials are going to lead real change. My involvement came because of the close relationship that Monet has with the Garner family. #blacklivesmatter #alllivesmatter
