Today we have a Honda NC700 booked in for our Gold Package Detail. What is involved in our Gold detail? After inspecting the entire Motorcycle and reporting to the owner we start by hand washing all painted surfaces using a PH neutral shampoo, Clean brakes, wheels and suspension components using a non acidic wheel cleaner with the two bucket system before rinsing. We then turn our attention to the motor, swing arm, chain, sprockets & under body frame, We degrease all components using solvent and Xylene free degreaser to ensure maximum protection of your investment. Hand & Blow dry the entire motorcycle before cleaning and sealing all unpainted plastics for added protection, polish mufflers by hand (if applicable) and apply wheel sealer to protect your wheels from brake dust, road grime and adding a great shine. The perspex screen, headlight and indicators are polished and sealed. We now turn our attention to underside of the bike starting at the chain applying chain wax to keep it protected and functioning at its best, The frame and engine covers are waxed along with the subframe and swing arm. a coat of sealant is applied to ensure maximum protection. The Paintwork is next, This stage is different for all bikes and depends greatly on the condition, type and age of the paint. We will discuss this with you when we inspect the Motorcycle. Paint is Clayed to remove any contaminants, debris in the paint surface before polishing to remove minor scratches, swirls and other fine imperfections. We then apply a sealant adding an additional layer of protection before waxing for the final finish using a fully synthetic silicon free wax to give a deep shine and lustre to the Motorcycle for the ultimate glow. The final item is to apply a black shine to the outer wall of the tyres giving the pop factor before the final inspection, The motorcycle is inspected front to back, top to bottom to ensure the perfect finish before handing it back to the customer. Total job time is approx 4 hours
