Today we held our election for 3 board of director positions. David LaPauloe and Curt Scamman won three-year terms and Joanne Landry won a two-year term. There were seven people who ran for the three positions which is an outstanding tribute to the club as many clubs find it difficult to have a single member run for the position. Doug Hooper reported The Toys for Tots program was a success again this year with over 1400 children being provided gifts. Leo Menard and his sidekick Tina Wilson put in a lot of time with this project and are to be commended. Dan Colby one the 50/50 but did not pull out the ace of spades. Happy dollars include Jason Webber who reported that his seventh grade girls basketball team is undefeated through seven games. Dru Laduke had on his Christmas tie from Nancy Kelly and DG Lawrence Furbish attended the meeting. Deb Cote organized the annual luncheon with the residents of St. Andres which is to be held on 12-18-14. Ed Boucher had a happy dollar for his recent 81st birthday and Connie Minervino was happy her son was safe at home from college and Kerstin Kirchner was happy the recent raffle was a success in the proceeds are to be used to assist in the global grant the RC of Abuja Metro. President Chris Jacques presented Sharri MacDonald with her five year certificate and thanked her for all that she has done for the club, her community and the many members she has brought into the club. Sheila Flathers one of our newest members gave a classification talk where we learned about her background including living in Bridgton Maine for nine months is a long long long time.
