Anika Reichelt (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing with this amazingly talented company yet again! Her past roles include Brigitta, Sound of Music (Woodland Theater), Storyteller, Children of Eden (Wellesley Players), Young Fiona/Baby Bear, Shrek and Young Eponine/Ensemble, Les Misérables (Weston Drama Workshop). In her free time, she loves to be with her friends, writing, reading, sketching, and browsing the wonderful world of the Internet. Favorite theatre role you’ve played: I loved playing Brigitta in Sound of Music with Woodland Favorite theatre memory: Backstage during Sound of Music the novices read to us “children” from the horrific book I was given as a prop. It was really a horrible, Gothic violent book filled with short stories. How long have you been doing musicals? Two years What is your favorite musical and why: I really loved the Addams Family because it was just fun and quirky. How long have you been doing musicals? Two years and two minutes. Do you have any siblings or parents who can sing and act? NO. Why do you like being a kid? There’s freedom without pressure. What is the hardest thing about being a kid? Having to juggle school work with things to do for fun and sleep. What is your favorite thing to do with your friends? Laugh. What do you think you will be doing 10 years from now? Hopefully either performing or writing. If you could have one super power what would it be? The ability to refill things. Think about it: bank account empty? Refill it! Bowl of popcorn empty? Refill it! It makes perfectly logical sense. If you could invent something that would make life easier for people, what would you invent? Workout in a pill! Where is your favorite place in the world? I loved London, it was really beautiful Where do you WANT to visit some day? I’d like to visit Venice. I love Italian food, and it’s so pretty. What 3 words do you think best describe you? Quirky, energetic, positive. What are you most excited about performing in Fiddler? I’m excited about the music, there is great music in Fiddler. And I’m also excited because I get to work with people who I know are fun to work with.
