Today we honor the life of María José & Sofia Alvarado, whose life was tragically cut short, causing devastation for her family and friends, and denying her the chance to proudly represent her nation at the Miss World 2014 pageant. We are here to celebrate your life and the measure of its worth. And every single life you touched while you were on this earth. We wish to pay our last respect that’s why we all are here today. To thank you for your friendship and all the memories you shared. It would have been a privilege to have known you - my pageant sister.
