Today we introduced 2 new dogs, Marley and Max, to one of our highly successful pack walks. Max (far right) is an Akita Shepard mix who was kicked out of doggie daycare for fights and was being extra dominant with his owners as of late. We introduced him to the pack 1st and showed him how to be relaxed around other dogs and focus on the pack instead of focusing on all the distractions around. Max (2nd from left in the red coat) is a Cane Corso who was found on the streets of the Bronx. She was likely a dog that was used just for breeding and was definitely overbred. Shes a very insecure girl who had learned not to trust people or dogs but here she is on her 1st ever pack walk relaxed with the pack. The dogs in the pack dont judge her for her past nor do they feel bad for her but instead focus on the energy that she projects. They will be a great support system in her rehabilitation and help her get back to a balanced state. Remember that the dogs in this pack once had issues of their own and are now helping other dogs to get back to their natural state.
