Today we met with our adoption attorney to go over what the next steps on our journey will be. He told us that this should be the final and easiest step as long as all of the paperwork from both state offices is correct. Both of our agencies are sending him all of their paperwork to review to make sure it complies with Wyoming adoption laws. Once we know all that paperwork is correct well begin filing it with the courts. From that point it should take six months, six home visits and a judge approving of the adoption before we can finalize.
