Today, we mourn the loss of one of our youngest members from 2014, Alex Daily, who passed away last night. Alex was a student at Naches High School in Yakima, WA, was a member of both the Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps, and joined the Oregon Crusaders trumpet section right after their season completed on July 6. Alex was only 15 years old. Alex had an impact on the lives of his fellow teammates at Oregon Crusaders, as demonstrated by the outpouring of comments on Alexs Facebook page. As a young performer who joined us late in the season and at such a young age, he surprised everyone with his great work ethic and determination to succeed. Please send your thoughts and prayers to the Daily family as they grieve their loss, and one that occurred too soon. He will be missed by family, friends, and the extended drum corps families of the Columbians and Oregon Crusaders.
