Today we remember those who lost their lives on the day of September 11, 2011 in New York City, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon. We pay tribute to those who said "We will not stand for this!" To those who said "We must fight for freedom from extremism which compromises humanity’s safety!" Today we pay tribute to all those men and women of law enforcement, firefighters, volunteers, humanitarian organizations and every brave soul who stood for risking or losing their lives. To those who stand against the outright acts of evil against humankind. Today, we thank those who have preserved our freedom and those who continue to fight for it everyday. Let us all remember that the echo of that day 12 years ago must be heard and not forgotten. You will not be forgotten. Let freedom ring above the sounds of negativity and destruction.
