Today we rescued a dog in a very critical condition. He was wounded and had hundreds of maggots. Maggots are the legless larva of a fly or other insect and they eat and thrive on decaying matter. Flies lay their eggs in open and unattended wounds. It took almost two hours to clean the wound and remove the maggots. So please guys, if you see any wound or injury on a stray dog, please give primary treatment or call your closest rescue center. If delayed a minor wound can take a life... Think, understand and SHARE... Let this message reach all the people.... Be the voice of the voiceless...
