Today we said our final Goodbyes to our sister and friend Gennaya Colbert. My hubby, who was unable to attend the funeral asked me how the service went. My answer surprised me. I said it was beautiful. What a paradox! Yet, its true. Can funerals be beautiful? Yes! Only when they are funerals of Gods children. They end up being spiritual graduation services; a celebration of a daughter of God who is relocating from this realm to then best realm ever. This is the only funeral in which Ive been so uplifted and blessed. What a beautiful and meaningful life G lived, all because of Christ. There were tears....oh...there were tears. But there were also smiles and laughter. We were reminded also that this life is fleeting and we need to live so that we exit this earth victoriously. Goodbye Sis. God be with you until we meet again.
