Today we sang Freedom and Break Every Chain in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As a Native, we owe him thanks since we rode into a lot of liberties on the coattail of his hard work and sacrifice. WE, our people, the FIRST AMERICANS, were the LAST AMERICANS to receive US citizenship. We were the last given the right to vote (so always use that authority!). We were treated as illegal immigrants on our on homeland. Thank you, Dr. King, for your efforts to equalize all mankind in America. Unfortunately, the fight is still going.
