Today we saw the movie NOAH. But before I give you my opinion, this post is not for anyone else to reply, to give me a rebuttal or to entangle in an unglodly behavior. This is my opinion and if you want to give yours, it is best to post it on your site not mine. With that said, lets start by saying that biblically, the story of Noah doesnt really give us much description or depiction of what happened or events that occurred during that time, as opposed to the crucifixion ( same story told by three apostles in different books) or the stories about miracles (feeding of the 3000) (healings etc). Unlike that, we again really dont have much information about the events that led up to the flood. This movie depicts a lot of fiction and I can see how they would make up the events leading up to and through the flood itself being totally off. But if you go, just expecting to see a Hollywood movie, i suppose it is ok. Look, I am not bashing anyone or anything, I am just saying that overall, this movie has a lot of creative scenes that really dont appear in the bible, but remember that we dont get much information to begin with, so Hollywood did what they do best made it up. However, on a positive note, this movie will be the center of a topic to discuss at the dinner table and at the least, it will entice you to go BACK TO THE WORD and read it. I have heard people saying that this is a mockery of Gods true word, but I have to say that the God I serve is a specialist about turning bad things into good things, THATS MY GOD!
