Today we served 46 individuals in a two hour period. Almost all of our volunteers have been sent home to nap as they are completely exhausted and we still have the evening rush ahead. At one point our entire waiting room, hallway and area outside of the crisis intervention center was filled with parents and children desperate for help. If you are able to volunteer, please come in Wednesday at 9am for an interview. If you are able to donate, now is the time. At current, as soon as the donations come in they are immediately being to distributed to clients at the other door. We are just barely keeping up with the demand but we must have more volunteers and supporters Mon, Wed and Fri from 9am-noon. If the referrals continue the way they are going, we will again run out of aid by Wednesday. We are doing the best we can but we need your help.
