Today we think of Norms father Lawrence Fogerty (though we think of him often). He was a Korean war vet who was a POW... and spent time buried in a box while a prisoner. Eating bugs to survive, taking the beatings and all that goes along with it. He was with the airborne rangers and a paratrooper. He had several missions but 3 in particular awarded him of the purple heart and its equivalent. He lived his life with shrapnel in his head and body... and later in a wheel chair. He was one of the most loving men we ever met..and both Norm and I loved him dearly....and we miss him today.
