Today we took possession of our 25th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves our new boat and slip on this gorgeous lake Cave Run Lake in Daniel Boone National Forest! I remember back 30 years ago when Dave and I met I was just 18 and we met on the beach and were 800 miles away from each other. We would call each other and look at the same moon at night and wish we were together. We missed each other so much he hitchhiked the entire eastern seaboard 800 miles to travel to see me! He left his family in Connecticut to move to Cincinnati for me with no ocean or body of blue water just the brown Ohio river. Today is huge we will have a beautiful clean blue lake to swim in with our family and friends that reminds Dave of home. The lake is surrounded by beautiful stones and pine trees! What I know is the memories we will continue to make will be treasured for a lifetime. I cant wait now to buy our tube and all go tubing this summer. Looking forward to bringing our eWomenNetwork sisterhood down for some weekend adventures as well! Love to share the FUN Look forward to taking Dad out fishing this lake is great for catching fish! Grateful for all the sunrises and sunsets we will share! Now to name the boat....SMOOCH And to christen our new boat with a bottle of Champagne! Cheers!!
