Today we used billion dollar military satellites to send 40 kids on a high-tech treasure hunt. In other words, we went geocaching. There were 10 treasures to be found around Morrisons Cove Memorial Park. Each treasure (called a cache) had to be found by using hints, clues, and GPS coordinates. Local kids as well as two Boy Scout groups showed up to join the adventure. The kids learned the basics on satellite functionality and geocaching. Join us in our next adventure...
