Today we went out to check on Haley. Haley is a little arab mare that ran into fencing during a lightening storm Oct. 13th. We found out about her on 10/30/2014 and on that day put deconstructed Summer Whinnys as tubing over both horrible wounds on her hocks. Today, I would say that I nearly was in tears. Let the photos speak for themselves. This little girl is just fine. Remember one month tomorrow and no proud flesh, no infection, no lameness, gained weight through out, probably over 100lbs. She went off antibiotics on the 13th. She went on Pentoxiflline on the 13th, which we think has really helped the internal rebuilding. When she first hurt herself, you could see the tendons through the gouges on her left hock. 1st photo. 10/30. Day one of the Summer Whinnys. Next photos...today!! 11.29. one month later.
