Today we went to the Pigeon Forge Information and welcome Center. We decided to visit The Island where they have the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel... where you can see the best views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The wheel is 20 stories tall. Also ate some good German food including Pomme frite (German fries). The Island has 22 acres of shops, restaurants and amusements featuring live music and the spectacular Island Show Fountain. Has anyone ever tried ole smoky Tennessee moonshine? I couldnt sample any because i did not bring my drivers license. Oh well, maybe next time. Moon pies and RC cola were very popular back in the day. Bruce tried his first banana moon pie an RC cola today. Had lots of fun today and looking forward to tomorrows adventures!!
