Today we were having a wonderful time. We were eating and the girls were sitting a table behind us with some friends. Suddenly I could hear Jazzy behind me choking. I can not believe how quickly I instantly went in the action. I realized it was serious. I jumped out of my seat swung around the table, lifted her up and did the Heimlich Maneuver. A wad of meat shot right out of her mouth from the back of her throat immediately! I had been trained many times how to do it but I was never really sure if I really could do it. Well,today I found out with my own child! Not only can I do it but I did it without hesitation and I saved my own beloved daughter Jazmyne today! My Mom was with us and she was amazed at how quickly I knew what to do and I just did it. It was all over about as quickly as we were aware there was a serious problem! Even to myself it seemed that I became somebody else! I did not think I just went into action. It is an amazing thing to have your daughter and your husband thank you for saving her life!
