Today, weve officially opened the new sensory garden in Astley Park following a complete revamp. The improvements include: installing new plants to give year round colour, fragrance and texture, installing braille labels, creating french oak benches, re-building the previously damaged stone walls and installing new interpretation boards. We have worked with volunteers from the Friends of Astley Park Group and Galloways Society for the Blind to complete the garden, which is located close to the Queens Road entrance to the park. Next time youre in the park, pop along for a visit.
