Remember that they subjected themselves to a sick and twisted psychological war. Saw things they never wanted to see, did things they never wanted to do. Found themselves participating in acts they never would have done otherwise. Veterans deserve our prayers and gratitude, but for a lot more reasons than we like to remember.
