Today while at work, I received a very disturbing call regarding my daughter. I was told that she had been hit by a car. All I could think of was that I was at work and needed to be with my daughter. By the time I got to her I finally got the whole story. The lady whose car hit Cynthias bike had also called me to give me her information and to check up on Cynthia. Long story short: car hit the back of Cynthias bike and knocked her over. Paramedics were called, examined her, and allowed her to decline going to ER. I spoke with EMTs while they were with her and to her just to relieve my nervousness. She has minor bruising on her thigh, but ONLY GOD can give that level of protection to any of us. Even the principal of Hamlin got involved to help her out. (She will start at Hamlin next year.). Thank you Father God for protecting my baby!! , Just some extra info.... the driver did stop and fully cooperate with authorities, has already contacted me giving me her info for future reference , and has expressed concern for Cynthia.
