Today while attending KEPSA Presidential Roundtable at State House, Nairobi, we received the good news that the ICC case against HE President Uhuru Kenyatta had collapsed. Instinctive and spontaneous celebrations followed. At last, our long held position, on the two Kenyan cases, that the ICC Prosecutor conducted partisan and shoddy investigations motivated by hatred, financial and political considerations has been vindicated. Surely this is an indictment on the Office of the ICC Prosecutor, the weakest link in what was ideally expected to be an international justice system. I am confident that the case against HE William Ruto and my friend Joshua Arap Sang will suffer the same fate. For now we are jubilated and inspired by the words of President Kenyatta at the KEPSA meeting: “One down two to go”. Good evening and God bless!
