Today while selling waffles in the harbour, a lady from the US started talking to us about the reason why they traveled here. She was waring fur, I should have known. Her husband likes it here to shoot our bears. Why? I asked. There are too many she replied. Oh my I told her, while still waiting for her waffle to be baked, that I do not like Trophy hunters, killing just for some paws and a head on their wall. Oh, she said, We eat them too! Good meat. Guess BC is not putting that in their brochures to tourists. My question to you: Can I refuse to serve, pick and choose who I want to sell to? We served her the waffle, disgusted. Sorry to bother you with this, but this is strait out of a waffle bakers day at work.
