Today will be one of my hardest days. Tonight I say goodbye to one of the best friends a girl could ask for. At 23 years old, thats the last thing you think youd be doing. She was humble, tough as nails, but one of the sweetest people you would meet. We always laughed and cut up when we were together. When I moved overseas we never lost touch. Facebook wall post or message here and there. When I came back, the Facebook posts and messages continued. Random one here and there, just to say Im proud of you, Im happy for you, I miss you, I love you. Well Shannon Mosley, I miss you, I love you, and I was extremely proud of the woman you were becoming! You told me when I moved always put God first, have fun, and never forget you. Im going to take those same words and use them for the rest of my life. I could never forget you! Thank you for always being my friend! The second hardest part of this day is my brother and sister n law moving to Virginia or Bristol Tennessee rather. I know I should be happy for them and tell them to embrace the adventure they are getting. Perhaps another day, another time I would find those words, but for now I struggle. Hes my best friend. I know hes not forever gone but at this moment, it feels that way. Right now, my world feels ripped into shreds and nothing makes sense any more.
