Today women who are pregnant can pay top dollar to sneak a peek at the baby in their womb by getting a 3D ultrasound. During most of a womens pregnancy, a doctor can monitor the fetus s growth. Specialists now even perform surgery on unborn babies. Advances in science and technology have shined a light on what happens in the darkness of the womb. A few thousand years ago, however, parents were as much in the dark as their developing babies were. Without access to ultrasound medical procedures, parents had to trust what God was up to in the dark. At first it seemed as though nothing was growing inside at all. Then a bulging belly would show what God had been up to. Even though we cant see God working, that doesnt mean Hes idle. God does some of His best work in the dark. He does some of Hos best work when we dont think Hes doing a thing. Hes behind the scenes, working it out. He ia faithful even though we cant see Him. If it feels as if the darkness is closing in, dont despair. God is not absent. In the darkness we wait and TRUST for Gods light to shine. #TrustGodinthedark
