Today would be my dads 90th birthday. Most of you never knew him but I just want you all to know somethings about him. He was born in the middle of the depression.He raised 4 kids on his own for quite a while in the 60s. Not many men did that back then. He was a WWII vet and proudly served his country. He played the guitar. He played by ear could hear any melody once and then repeat it perfectly, and was in many bands. He loved playing that guitar. I can still hear it in my mind. He loved sports and Walker TexasRanger, and Laugh In. He loved ice cream, pot roast and beans. Lots and lots of beans. Being the baby and only girl, I was and will always be a daddys girl. He taught me great core values that I have been able to pass onto my children. He always told me he loved me. He encouraged me to be the best person I can be and to help those who need help. He was a wonderful role model and I miss him everyday. Happy birthday dad! I hope you all too will share memories of your parents on FB as they are gone too soon and sometimes we just want others to know how great they are (were). Again, happy birthday daddy!!!!!!
