Today would have been my dads 89th birthday. He was a good man, he served in WWII, very hard working that always provided for his family. He was a very kind and giving man. I can remember him taking boxes of groceries to poor families and anonymously putting them on their porch in the middle of the night and saying to me, You must never tell anyone about this. He bought me my first bike(s)when I was about 12 years old and taught me how to ride. It was a Suzuki 125 dirtbike and a little Honda Trail 90 (which my brother usually rode). I thought I was hot shit riding that bike around the neighborhood. After dad passed in 2003, I found the guy that originally had the Suzuki (his first bike as a kid) and gave it back to him. He couldnt believe it was in such good condition for being 30+ years old. He even got a little teary eyed seeing his old bike. My dad taught me many valuable lessons in life. I still miss and think about him everyday. Happy Birthday Dad! Someday when we meet again, Ill let you take a ride in my Harley :-)
