Today would have been the birthday of one of my closest friends. The kind of friend who served as a brother, mentor, cousin and sportsman. A friend who helped teach me humility and temperance. A man who possessed a kind and gentle spirit. A friend who exemplified the notion of to never judge a book by its cover. A mathematical genius who introduced me to the world of computers almost 40 years ago. A brother who I could call on in ANY situation and KNEW that I had an ally. Our families go back so far, we BECAME family. And he was the guy who introduced me to true FANDOM for Cleveland sports for he truly loved his city. So, on this day, when we culminate celebrating the return of LBJ to Northeastern Ohio I see him predicting GREAT things for our teams.He MADE me believe in sticking to who I am, because thats what he did everyday of his abbreviated life.
