Todays Chopper Report....Flowers and a $25 gift certificate are very nice....but not enough to make up for the owner and his ridiculous rantings! I was told by a very friendly and courteous employee of PC yesterday in a phone call, that I was correct, that not every register was open and that she in fact, timed my wait in line and found that I did indeed wait for 17 1/2 minutes to simply get to the register! This was unacceptable, so she said....She was lovely and PC is lucky to have her....I was told that Neil Golubs (Chairman of the Board of PC) cousin Jerry who is the CEO, wanted to speak to me about all of this, but that he was in meetings all day and would it be alright if he phoned me tomorrow (today)? Of course! I would be more than happy to speak to him ....Not only did I NOT receive a phone today from Jerry, I received ANOTHER call this morning from crazy Neil Golub....THIS time telling me that he was unaware that there was an emergency situation happening at the time I was in the store... water drains were backing up throughout the store apparently... so employees were taking care of that and this is why there was a shortage at the front end, and dont I know that emergencies happen all the time and they cant be helped and blah blah blah....and apparently that s why the shelves were bare also! ..NO apology for the way he spoke to me....NO apology AT ALL for the way he conducted himself in the two previous conversations that I had with him..NO apology for short of calling me a liar...I swear I thought it was some sort of joke! The man just stuck his foot even further in his mouth! At this point? I dont think there is anything they could do to appease my ire....and to be honest I dont really care...If they could somehow save my family from the trauma it is going through? I would shop there again....But they cant....so I wont....End of story....
