Todays Cup of Wisdom: BLESSINGS AND CURSES PRAISE THE LORD< For this is a day that He has made! I awoke with this on my heart today, and thank our Father for the blessing of his word! Do not miss out on what our Heavenly father has for you today! Brothers and sisters, we will all go into the cities and into the fields, yes indeed, and on the way we will go through storms, rivers, fires, over hills and into valleys. We will be in the wilderness, have mountains to climb and we will suffer lack, persecution and trials. It is written: 2 Timothy 3:12King James Version (KJV) 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. We are told very plainly that we need to EXPECT the enemy: 1 Peter 5:8King James Version (KJV) 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: How do we want to live during these times? Do we desire blessings or curses? Yes indeed we have a choice! God has given us His word as a guide, a life manual, a map, our GPS! Without the word of God we have no defense here on earth. The word of God, obedience and faith are our protection! The word says, James 1:22-25King James Version (KJV) 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. First and foremost we must build our house: Matthew 7:24-27 English Standard Version (ESV) Build Your House on the Rock 24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Jesus is our firm foundation! In Him we have all power and victory over whatever comes our way! We need to keep our eyes on Him at all times! And as he said John 14:12-17King James Version (KJV) 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. It keeps me searching for more of Gods truth, so that I may be blessed and not cursed in this world that is currently controlled by our enemy. We are all going TO IT, , but how we getting THROUGH IT? Curses on Disobedience 15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: 16 “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country. 17 “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 18 “Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. 19 “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out. 20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me. 21 The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess. 22 The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever, with the sword, with scorching, and with mildew; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess. 64 “Then the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone. 65 And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul. 66 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life. 67 In the morning you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were evening!’ And at evening you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were morning!’ because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see. 68 “And the Lord will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, ‘You shall never see it again.’ And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.” Thank you Holy Father for your word! We give you all the honor, all the praise and all the glory! Help us Lord to follow your word, and do as it says, that we may be blessed in all we do! Let your words abide in us, that we may abide in you, receiving every good promise and gift from heaven. Lord let only your perfect will be done, here on earth as in heaven. Protect us from all evil, forgive us our trespasses, and help us to continue on, running this race as to WIN THE CROWN OF GLORY AS PROMISED! May the peace of God which passeth all understanding rule in each heart, and may the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE UPON US ALL! In Jesus name, for the his glory, the glory of God and the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven to come! AAAAAMEN!
