Todays Devotion Topic: Your Healing Is Possible Through Christ. Text: Luke 4: 40- 41a 40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. 41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” Amen One of the unfortunate situations in life is having problems with ones health. There are several health problems with different names but similar effect. In the end, they all plaque your body, steal your joy, affect your strength for work and gradually denies you the full benefits of this life. Precious One, please dont despair because of the sickness you feel and the pain in your body. Jesus, your mighty healer, is alive and He is still in the healing business. He is anointed to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives; recovery of sight to the blind, and to set at liberty all those oppressed of the devil. (Luke 4: 18). There is no way your situation can escape His touch today. i. Doesnt matter what name the doctors call your situation (malaria, diabetes, headache, hypertension, typhoid, cancer, ulcer, etc) ii. Doesnt matter how terrible you feel (sad, depressed, broken and a sense of hopelessness) iii. Doesnt even matter how much you have lost (your dignity, looks, job, money and friends) God sends you His Word today to heal your infirmities. Whatever evil meant for your destruction, is turned for your good right now in Jesus Name. The time for your restoration has come. Meditate on this Word, thank God for the divine opportunity to be healed once and for all. Now begin to pray for your healing. Ask the Lord Jesus to touch you with His healing grace and restore your health completely. For it is His will that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.
