Todays Devotional I was listening to one of the messages of Dr. Myles Munroe, and I was so blessed. That man was a great man; he was a phenomenon in our generation. He said as a young child they were so poor that he would use paper bag as school bag. One day in class, his teacher told him that he is a half-brained monkey! He said he nearly believed but for his mum who sat him down and told him to read a verse of the scripture repeatedly. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. (Ephesians 3:20 KJV) That verse of the scripture did something to him. His mum told him to read it repeatedly until he can say it off hand. At thirteen, he started reading the Bible voraciously. At fourteen, he memorized a whole book of the Bible. He moved from an ‘F’ student to an ‘A’ student! You see, there is something about knowledge of God’s word!
