Todays Elfy book and Santa request has Dasha in a real mess. We found him having some of those yummy leftover cupcakes me had made for fishy clinic. Santa asked Dasha to help him Elfy style making some home made wrapping paper. Dasha had so much fun. Its got to be the first time I havent stopped her from just getting messy in almost eight months. This 24 days of Christmas fun have lifted both her and my spirits and shaken mumma out of her germafobe mode to allow a bit of crazy fun back into our world. I love her so much - she giggled so much today and its like food to my weary old soul. Its healing to have a fun destination everyday, rather than treatment life. We are enjoying our first full week off pain in 11 weeks and I might just retain my sanity and shake off my scaredy cats after all. Thank you Elfy for helping mumma get back into the swing of normal, and for bringing carefree fun to a tiny little girl who deserves normal more than any. Bless her little heart.
